First opening in 2010, the Rasmussen University Tampa/Brandon location sits just off Interstate 75 and the Brandon Boulevard exit with ample parking, so getting to and from campus is a breeze. The campus features large, high-tech classrooms, updated labs and plenty of study space to better serve the growing student body.

In-Person Programs at the Tampa/Brandon Campus

Health Sciences and Nursing students will experience a top-of-the-line Simulation Center and updated labs, including a labor and delivery room, an ICU and a medical-surgical simulation room that give students the opportunity to learn in a safely controlled but realistic setting. Attached to these simulation rooms are “control rooms,” where instructors and students can observe. As a Rasmussen student, you will be able to better prepare for working in today’s complex healthcare environments.

Online Programs at the Tampa/Brandon Campus

These programs are available to Florida students, but classes don’t require any on-campus attendance. For any programs that require field experience or in-person practicums, we’ll help you find the right placement.

  1. NCLEX-PN is a registered trademark of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc.
  2. Students who begin the Practical Nursing Diploma program on or after August 2022 and prior to April 7, 2025, may be eligible for the following toward their degree at Rasmussen University:
    • A grant worth up to $2,000 to be equally divided across an eligible student’s first four (4) quarters in the Practical Nursing Diploma program.
      • Students will be billed at the standard tuition rate plus applicable fees before the grant is applied. Student is responsible for all applicable book fees. 
      • Eligibility will be verified by the Admissions/Financial Aid Office before the grant is awarded.
    • Grant value cannot exceed tuition cost.
