Preparedness Plan Clarification following CDC Update
This past week brought positive news about the progress we are seeing across the country in our collective fight against COVID-19. This progress, particularly the widespread availability of vaccinations, has allowed some federal, state and local agencies to lessen or remove some orders or recommendations related to mask wearing and social distancing. We are pleased to see the progress being made, and we encourage all members of the Rasmussen University community to get vaccinated to help end this pandemic.
At this time, the current Rasmussen University COVID Preparedness Plan (https://www.rasmussen.edu/pdf/COVID19-Preparedness-Plan.pdf) remains in place and continues to outline the expected protocols in our campuses and offices. Specifically, the Plan’s protocols for mask wearing, social distancing, and established hygiene practices remain in place on University grounds for the continued safety of our stakeholders.
We are encouraged by the trends, and will continue to evaluate and communicate any changes as they are made. Thank you for your continued adherence to our adopted protocols as we work together to protect each of our community members in this time of welcome transition.
